Should our schools be apolitical or should they be providing a fair and balanced education much like the fairness doctrine once required of media outlets? Is there a bias in the class room and is that a good thing? Could a litmus test even be created that would insure that bias did not enter the classroom. Should there be one?
Should the Federal Government have a role in deciding what is taught in the classroom or should this be the responsibility of local and state government?
